2015-16 Annual Report
High quality child care is invaluable. Knowing that your child is being nurtured and cared for in a state regulated facility will give you peace of mind throughout your work day. My Place participates with Child Care Subsidies provided by the Department of Social Services. We will partner with you to provide a part time schedule of care. We operate on a sliding fee scale and will cover your questions regarding tuition on a center tour.
Every guest is required to sign in upon arrival. Parents/guardians sign their child in and out of our care each day. Anyone who arrives to pick up your child other than you will need to provide photo identification. This ID will be matched against the blue card you have provided us of who is allowed to pick up your child.
My Place values the power of play. Play is the foundation for all we do! Our team role models playful learning through song, dance, art, physical fitness, and phonics. We utilize The Early Literacy Connections Curriculum throughout the center as well.
At My Place, we work hard to leave the center better than we found it. We practice recycling with the children. We encourage parents not to leave their cars idle at pick up and drop off. We are conscientious to limit food and material waster through thoughtful planning and preparation.
Hours of care
My Place is open year round, Monday - Friday. We begin our day at 7:00 am and playfully learn until 5:30 pm. Call the center for extended and part time care options.
Meals and Snacks
My Place is proud to partner with Corning Catering for all of our meals. We participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. We proudly serve a nutritious breakfast, hot lunch and afternoon snack. Milk and water are served with meals. Water is available to the children throughout the day. For infants, baby food and snacks are served.
My Place is a peanut free zone. We ask that all parents and staff bringing any supplies from home to please make sure that all products are peanut free.
